If The Steelers lead by more than 7 at any point, the Packers R in trouble

Insane STAT: The Packers are the first team since the AFL-NFL merger to never trail by more than 7 points at any point in a season.

It's crazy how every1 laughed at the Heat losing by 3 against the Knicks when the Celts and Lakers lost to the KINGS AND SUNS! HAHA.
This @NHL fantasy draft is pretty interesting, the @NBA should try this 4 at least one year. Imagine Team LeBron (@kingjames) vs. Team Kobe?

Nice win by the Knicks over the Heat; but relish in it while u can, playoff time u guys ain't stopping the Heat, Celtics or the Bulls

BREAKING NEWS: Former S. African leader Nelson Mandela, 92, recovering from collapsed lung, could be released from hospital Friday

Ted Williams Parody (LMAO!)

A Steelers Super Bowl Win Wouldn't Be a Shocker.

- They have more experience playing in the Super Bowl

- They always play with a chip on their back, in this case, the chip will be playing without Maurkice Pouncey, the rookie center who is the best lineman on the squad

- WhatifSports.com predicts a Steelers win and correctly predicted the conference champions as did Peter King, over the summer in 2010.

-Defense wins championships, the best defense in the league has won the title game the past 4 seasons.

-The Packers disappear in the 3rd quarter, as we saw in the NFC Championship, which could be costly , especially if the Packers are losing at halftime.

-As the playoffs continued, it became apparent that the Steelers and the Ravens were the clear #1 and #2 teams in the league because of their decent offenses and dominating defenses and as Terrell Suggs said, the team that wins the divisional playoff game between those 2 squads will win the whole thing.

-Last 15 Super Bowls, AFC is 9-6.

Therefore, in conclusion, my heart wants to go with the Packers because I HATE THE STEELERS and Super Bowl losers, with the exception of the Colts this season, usually do terrible and don't make the playoffs the next year BUT my gut is going with the Steelers.

When you watch them play, they just seem to have so much chemistry and that "it" factor. I don't think Pouncey's loss will have much effect on the game's result but keep in mind that the Steelers didn't score in the second half.

Big Ben will secure his place as the #2 best QB in the league with this win behind Peyton Manning (only because of Manning's accolades). The score will be 24-20 Steelers.

Why the Packers will win the Super Bowl

1. Aaron Rodgers has the best QB rating in the league when playing in domes.

2. Because Brett Favre says so, LOL

3. Green Bay is the slight favorite right now, 32 of the past 34 favorites (with the exception of the Pats and Colts, AFC squads) have won the Super Bowl. Only 12 of the past 44 underdogs have won the Super Bowl.

4. The Steelers and Packers are identical teams as the Sporting News notes, but with rookie Maurkice Pouncey out for the big game, the Packers might have found their only decisive, key edge in this game. Remember the Steelers offense didn't score any points in the 2nd half vs. the Jets.

5. NumberFire, who has gone 8-1 in their predictions and is run by a Pittsburgh native has an accurate algorithm that uses all sorts of math to determine the winner of football games and the Packers are a 2-point favorite.

6. ColdHardFootballFacts.com, who just like NumberFire, correctly predicted this matchup, came up with a new, significant stat that is in it's 2nd year of testing that is supposed to have direct correlation with winning, New Orleans was number on the 1st year of testing and ended up winning the whole thing and now Green Bay is #1 in this catergory. You subtract a team's pass offense stats from it's pass defense stats.

7. Packers are also #1 on ColdHardFootballFacts.com in the Bendability rankings which are rankings with numbers that determine which teams "Bend but don't Break".

8. Tecmo Sports News predicts the Packers win despite the Steelers having all the better statistics by the score of 17-10. But anyways, the last NFC team to win 3 straight road playoff games won the whole thing (Giants).

9. They rank #2 in the leauge when it comes to points allowed.

10. Homefield advantage: NFC City + the game is on NFC TV home, FOX Network and by the way the last Super Bowl on FOX was won by an NFC team (Giants)

I HATE THE STEELERS!!!!!!! I'm switching bandwagons again....GO PACKERS!!!! (LOL!) But this team is an example of why the Rooney Rule works
And that is how the Jets lost the AFC Championship....... Steelers/Packers are your 2 Super Bowl teams this yr.

Who is Caleb Hanie?

From his Wikipedia:
1. He made his first regular season contribution as a Bear towards the end of their blowout loss to the Cincinnati Bengals on October 25, 2009. He completed 1 of 2 passes for 2 yards.

2. He went on to make another appearance against the Baltimore Ravens on December 20, 2009, completing 2 of 5 passes for 8 yards. During that game, he also threw his first career interception on an acrobatic play by Dominique Foxworth.

3. On October 3, 2010 Bears starter Jay Cutler and second string quarterback Todd Collins both suffered injuries in a game against the New York Giants, and Hanie entered the game as an emergency quarterback. He went 3 of 4 for 36 yards, but the Bears still suffered their first loss of the 2010 season.

4. On October 10, 2010, with Cutler on the bench due to a concussion suffered the previous week, Collins started the game but proved ineffective, throwing four interceptions. Hanie entered the game in the third quarter and went 2 of 3 for 19 yards. The Bears won the game 23–6, primarily on points scored in the early part of the first quarter, and scored two fourth-quarter field goals on drives led by Hanie.

5. FROM THE EXAMINER: Caleb Hanie was the starting quarterback for the Colorado State University Rams for part of 2004, and the full-time starter in 2006-07, racking up 6,337 yards and 39 touchdowns in his time wearing the No. 16 green and gold jersey.

6. He played high school football for Forney High School in Forney, Texas and led his team to consecutive top 3 finishes in class 3A in 2002 and 2003.

7. His 40 time is 4.85

10. Great moments in his career according to him:

BREAKING NEWS: Swizz Beatz got his Twitter account hacked (Screenshots BELOW)

As we saw in the movie "The Social Network" (and the WikiLeaks controversy), quoting (not verbatim) Sean Parker, "our generation is the generation of hacking". This was proven when uber-famous producer and hubby of Alicia Keys, Swizz Beatz who's produced for Jay-Z, BMX, Beyonce, his wifey, T.I., G. Unit and so many other artists; got his Twitter account hacked by a bored individual from London, UK. Here are some screenshots from the incident before the account was suspended.

A retweet by the hacker from a DJ who just lost all his chances of ever working with Swizz but still told the truth about Swizz/Alicia's cheating scandal.

Here is the hacker's account, he was asking for 1000 followers before he released a new song from Jay-Z called "Slade"; apparently the hacker also got into Swizz's email which also had a bunch of music.

Self-explanatory. LOL

An overview of the hacker's tweets after hijacking the account.

UPDATE:

Yoji “Pop” Asani (This Year's Pants on the Ground on American Idol?)

The videos speak for themselves HAHA LOL

1. This video tells his story in full and has his audition.

2. This video has a better version of his audition more closeup. LOL

3. Here is his latest single called "The Power", available on ITunes for 99cents (No, really)

4. As he said in the audition, he is a Michael Jackson impersonator.

5. Here he is displaying his dancing talents

And just in case you forgot "Pants on the Ground".....

ANALYSIS OF NEW JUDGES ON FIRST EPISODE:

The judges are OK, and have better chemistry than last year's judges but they are WAY too soft, they let some opera singer go through because she was crying, in order to make this show a success, your gonna have to be bluntly, truthfully honest and have an edge to you and right now it's a little to Nickelodeon-cuddly for me. If "A.I." doesn't "get real" during the live shows and "The Voice" and "X Factor" pick good judges that'll make people tune in, then you can say bye bye to being #1.

Carson Daly to host NBC's "The Voice of America"

As you can see from the tweet above from my Twitter account, NBC listened to my suggestion. Where's my commission, NBC? LOL.

Anyways, I sent this tweet on New Years Eve/New Year's Day after watching the two big New Year's TV shows on ABC and NBC and I was impressed with Mr. Daly and his charisma on TV that I haven't seen since I was in 3rd grade watching TRL waiting for the new Britney Spears video (probably the only black kid doing that haha). I suggested to NBC (like they actually read my tweet, haha) that in order to jumpboard this new series that I'm so excited about, they needed an established star as host that was sorta like Ryan Seacrest but not really.

According to Deadline, Daly is close to an agreement that will make him host of a show that involves four celebrity judges who will form a team of singers that they will mentor all season. Contestants are eliminated until each judge/mentor has only 1 contestant left. The even cooler thing about this is that during auditions judges won't be able to see how the contestants look like so that they don't pull a Susan Boyle-type blunder and misjudge singers on appearance.

Daly will be competing with "American Idol" and his counterpart Ryan Seacrest who have very similar career paths:

1. both own a TV production company

2. both host a live L.A. morning radio show

3. both host New Year's Eve specials

4. both have experience on cable TV

5. both host entertainment-based nightly TV shows

Here are samples of how "Voice of America" will look like based off the original version from Holland:

If they can find celeb judges with diversity, chemistry and relevance, this show WILL beat "Idol"....guaranteed. We'll see who they choose in the future, but they are off to a good start.

TV in January 2011

January 10th, 2011- "Piers Morgan's Life Stories: Susan Boyle", TV Guide Channel, 9pm- an intense and entertaining interview with Larry King's future replacement that was one of the highest rated interviews in TV history, Ted Williams next?

January 10th, 2011- BCS National Championship Game, ESPN, 8pm- Two of the best college football teams, Auburn and Oregon take on each other in the final game of the regular season. ADVANTAGE: Auburn

January 11th, 2011- "The Game", BET, 10pm- one of my favorite TV shows of all time is making a come back for the ages with new storylines after Derwin and Melanie have gotten married.

January 11th, 2011- "Let's Stay Together", BET, 11pm- a sitcom with all black leads, something we don't see in TV often (only 5 TV sitcoms with all black leads including these one: "House of Payne", "Meet the Browns", "Are We There Yet?", "Love That Girl" which premiers January 10th at 9pm on TV One)

Wednesdays- "Live to Dance", CBS, 8pm- a dance version of "American Idol" with amazing dancers and Paula Abdul, it's actually very interesting

Fridays- "Season 25" and "Your OWN Show", OWN, 8-10pm- "Season 25" is a behind the scenes look at Oprah's last season and gives us a real, raw look at Oprah when she's planning her show while "Your OWN Show" takes is an "Apprentice"-like show that give contestants a chance to compete for their own talk show on Oprah's network.

January 17th, 2011- "Piers Morgan Tonight", CNN, 9pm- Can you have a successful cable news primetime TV show without a political viewpoint? How do you replace the great Larry King? If their is anyone who can do it, based on his interviews from his British show that I've seen on YouTube, it's this guy. His first interviews will be Oprah and Howard Stern.

January 19th, 2011- "American Idol", FOX, 8pm- New judges, new changes, new format, new mentor, same host. How do you recover from losing two of your biggest stars in the course of the past three seasons?

NFL Playoffs- Saturdays and Sundays in January on CBS and FOX- Will my prediction of the Ravens going all the way be correct?

College Basketball- Everyday in January on CBS, FSN, your local RSN, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU

NFL PLAYOFF PREDICTIONS

SEAHAWKS over Saints- The Saints running game is depleted with both starting running backs out for the playoffs, they haven't performed well against easy teams losing to the Cards, Browns, and the Bucs while barely beating Dallas on Thanksgiving, they aren't as healthy as they should be and will come into this game with too much swagger and end up losing to a mediocre team that has a chip on their back and plays in the loudest stadium in the NFL

JETS over Colts- The Jets have a chance to prove themselves on the national stage against a Colts team that without Peyton probably would've been in contention for the #1 draft pick because of how many injuries they suffered, they haven't been consistent and Sanchez hasn't played spectacular but they find ways to win because of their stellar defense and running game. The Colts run defense has been able to shut down the likes of MJD and Chris Johnson which is something the Jets have to avoid but in the end I see Nueva York advancing

RAVENS over Cheifs- The Ravens, believe or not, have a task on their shoulders against the #1 running team in the league but I think the Ravens' tenacity and Ray Lewis' leadership on defense will help capture them to victory, this is going to be a game that the defense wins because I honestly just don't see either offense producing. (Ed Reed may be out for the game which could leave a huge dent in covering Dwayne Bowe, but I believe the Ravens can get this done)

EAGLES over Packers- This is Michael Vick's moment to shine, he's had so many people hating on him to this day on previous issues that he has already said sorry for; now this is his chance for retribution. The Packers are a solid all-around squad and are a scary team but in the end, as long as Vick's O-Line keeps their blocks then they'll be fine.

Oprah's New Network, OWN isn't black enough?

Disappointed.
That's the way alot of black people feel towards Oprah and her new network because of according to them, it's not Black enough. Read the article above to hear that perspective. Here are 5 reasons why this criticism is stupid.

1. Oprah has always catered to a general audience, she never targeted her show specifically for African-Americans so what makes you think she would be any different right now? She's always had a majority Caucasian audience because the timeslot and affiliates her show broadcasted in tended to be targeted for middle class Caucasian stay at home mom's. So there shouldn't be any surprise at "whiteness" of her network.

2. No one should ever take away from Oprah the contributions she has made to the black community, including starting a school for underprivileged girls in South Africa, financing films such as Beloved, The Eyes Were Watching God and Precious that told stories that many in the black community have experienced but weren't known by the general public, helping many in need through her Angel Network during Hurricane Katrina by building homes for them and so much more. 4 of the finalists on her new reality show called "Your OWN Show" are also African-American.

3. Oprah is with black people all the time, her best friends are African-American (Gayle King, Tyler Perry), her boyfriend is African-American (Stedman Graham), the president of her network is African-American (Christina Norman), many of her producers for her TV show are African-American, her radio network has some African-American hosts (Gayle King, Dr. Robin Smith, Dr. Maya Angelou, Derrick Ashong), she basically got the first African-American president his job (Barack Obama), 5 out of 8 people handpicked for her "Master Class" series on the new network are African-American (Dr. Maya Angelou, Oprah, Jay-Z, Sidney Poitier, Dr. Condoleeza Rice), as mentioned before 4 out of 10 finalists on "Your OWN Show" are African-American.

4. Yes, there is a need for improvement but the number of blacks in TV has come a long way, there aren't many fair, accurate or good representations of African-Americans on broadcast TV or cable TV these days but it's much better than it was 10 years ago, the host of ESPN's coverage of NBA and the BCS are black (Stuart Scott, John Saunders), the play-by-play man for the #1 program is cable TV is black (Mike Tirico), the hosts for FOX's and CBS' NFL coverage are African-American (Curt Menefee, James Brown), the weatherman for America's #1 morning show is African-American (Al Roker), the top scripted show on cable TV has a majority black cast (Meet the Browns), the #1 new scripted cable TV show of 2010 had a black cast (Are We There Yet?), the host of the #1 TV show during the summer is black (Nick Cannon), the top judge on America's #1 show is black (Randy Jackson) etc. But that is not to go away from the fact that we need more "Cosby Show" 's and less "The Wire" 's to show the general population that black people are just like everyone else and we need more black producers and writers to write scripts that appeal to the general population, not just black people.

5. Oprah doesn't owe black people anything, she can do whatever the hell she wants with her money, she met people like Dr. Phil or Dr. Oz and Suze Orman through trying to get help for her own self which in effect gave them opportunities to showcase their talents to the world. It doesn't mean she doesn't believe there are blacks who can do the same thing, it's just that she actually knows these people from other situations before TV came into play. While blacks are lacking in roles in scripted programming, especially positive ones, it's not Oprah's responsibility. We, as a people, should come together and do something to make the networks hear you. Networks care about making dough, not pleasing certain ethnic groups, if your not buying then they aren't selling.
